Based in Shirley, Massachusetts, the Nashoba Valley Concert Band has members from many surrounding towns in the Nashoba Valley area. Amateur musicians rehearse weekly and perform at local events throughout the year. New members are always welcomed. No auditions required.

Rehearsals are every Wednesday night from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. We currently are rehearsing at the Ayer Shirley Junior High School. Please contact [email protected] for more details.
In the winter, rehearsals will be cancelled if school is cancelled for Ayer Shirley.

Any musician with a wind band instrument (woodwind, brass, or percussion) is invited to rehearse with the Band....no auditions required. See New Member Info page for more information.
We are always adding to our schedule.
The NVCB performs throughout the year at many community events in the region. We appear annually in the Memorial Day observance in Harvard and at Fourth of July parades in Ayer and Harvard. We also perform regularly at bandstand concerts, town events, craft fairs, nursing home events, and more. All performances are free and open to the public.
